Guidance on how to structure a palette. #13
Comments
Would love to see this too! |
@meodai this may help
|
@someguy9 I eventually found out how to do this :D
Hope this helps. I would suggest to a) introduce a colors prop and b) Make a better example in the readme on how to use it. |
Thank you @meodai! Funny we both replied at the same time. Do your .ASE files not load in illustrator though? they show up blank for me but work in Photoshop, very odd. |
@someguy9 only tested it in Photoshop: https://github.com/meodai/palette-aldente/tree/main/dist/paletteFiles |
@meodai Also great color tool, just messed with it a bit, I am building https://ColorKit.co which is similar |
@someguy9 very cool! You might like : https://github.com/meodai/fettepalette && https://meodai.github.io/rampensau/ then, I used them both to build: https://farbvelo.elastiq.ch/ |
@meodai this is super helpful! Been trying to improve the generation function so I think this will help a lot. If you ever want to collab in some way feel free to send me an email, [email protected] |
@meodai Just realized, I think I am using your color name library, you're a legend! Thank you! |
@someguy9 you do, but it would be super nice to add the actual MIT notice somewhere :D |
@meodai I'll do that now, sometimes get too caught up in building, thank you for the reminder. |
@meodai Added! thank you again (I think I correctly did it, basically just linked to your repo/license file) and added a footer link for licenses. |
I am maintaining quite a few color tools. And using this would be extremely nice (for example: https://farbvelo.elastiq.ch/ )
I am mainly interested in the ASE export but the readme give little to no guidance on how to structure the "palette" object
Can you give me a bit of guidance? Would be super nice to have a few simple examples in the readme or wiki
