Can you provide an example (hf dataset) that you had success with when prototyping? Even just one that you confirmed worked through regular fine tuning.

I haven't tested with the hf dataset. I used my own and the example of it is shown in the readme.
I couldn't test the full fp32 that I don't have enough gpu for it.
