@tcr3dr @mrpollo - potentially serious!

Home page (http://dev.3dr.com/) always displays the full sidebar.

On all other pages (tested about 5) on first load displays a stuffed up sidebar:

Reloading the page and clearing the cache fixes the problem - page reloads with correct sidebar. However if I navigate away and then come back to the same page again then it returns to this odd sidebar.

not sure what your problem is here @hamishwillee can you elaborate?

@mrpollo Look at the image - that is what I see if I go to any page other than the front page - it only has the two items shown (nothing below those items) and it says [email protected]: rather than "Introduction".

As above, this is what I see on any page other than the front page. Refreshing fixes it temporarily, but navigating back to the page "unfixes" it.

I am only seeing this on Chrome, not on Edge or Firefox. Could be an installation issue. All working find for you on Chrome?

I think that's intended behaviour, to reproduce do the following

  • Click zooming-glass next to hamburger icon on the top
  • Enter some text
  • Wait for sidebar to show pages that have hits on a match
  • to clear either remove text or click zooming-glass again

Please confirm this is what you are talking about

It had "nothing" to do with search functionality, but after using the search the normal sidebar started working properly again. Closing.

I'm going to reopen this. It's not a blocker, but it is a weird UX failure that I'd love to fix upstream (Gitbook).
