Ubuntu 20.04 HL15 (Full Build)- Fresh install unable to view disks under "45Drives Disks"

After unsuccessful SMB management attempts with winbind, a clean install of Ubuntu 20.04 LTS was performed due to familiarity.

Unable to open the tab "45Drives Disks" as I was able to in the original HL15 Rocky 8 pre-install

Error obtaining disk information

Error opening /etc/vdev_id.conf. Run dmap.

I try to run dmap, but as im running a custom board, it gets mad. I've tried to just manually set the HBA card and it gets even more unhappy. i wonder what the server_info.json of a full system build looks like and what we should put in our custom builds to make it happy.
this is what ive tried, any feedback would be great.
Also tried using test repo, killed my cockpit install... just stuck at login screen saying "Authentication failed: no-cockpit"

Seems the 45drives-system/public/scripts/system file hasn't been updated for HL-15...
