<h4>INAUGURATION OF ALI HAJVERY FREE DRUG BANK, LAHORE GENERAL HOSPITAL, LAHORE</h4>
<p>
The journey which was started by Dr. Zaheer-ul-Hassan Mir with his colleagues on 5th March, 2012 with the opening of first Free Drug Bank named as Ali Hajvery Free Drug Bank at OPD, Mayo Hospital-Lahore to provide the medicines free of cost to the most deserving patients of OPD Mayo Hospital, Lahore. The main idea behind this was to obey the divine order of Almighty Allah to serve his people and provide comfort to the ailing humanity. The second mile stone is crossed by opening of Ali Hajvery Free Drug Bank at Lahore General Hospital Lahore on 12th December,2015 with the same mission and objectives which were fixed at the time of opening of first free drug bank during 2012. The second branch of Ali Hajvery Free Drug Bank at Lahore General Hospital was inaugurated by honourable Khawaja Ahmed Hassan, Special Adviser to Chief Minister of Punjab on 12th December 2015 with Dr. Zahid Pervez , Chiarman, AHFDB/ D.G. Health (R), Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood , Principal, Amiruddin Medical College / Postgraduate Medical Institute / Lahore General Hospital, Lahore , Dr. Capt. (R) Niaz Ahmed, Medical Superintend Lahore General Hospital, Lahore, Haji Muhammad Tariq, Executive Member and Mr. Muhammad Asif Javed, Incharge/Chief coordinator, Ali Hajvery Free Drug, Lahore General Hospital, Lahore. and other distinguished guests.
