This comment #910 (comment) solved the issue for me. Sadly I can't pinpoint the exact list that resolved it, but after enabling all of them (besides the cookie ones) I was able to watch Youtube videos again. My guess is, that it was one of the lists in the annoyances section.
This still seems to be an issue, deactivating or reactivating rules does not seem to change anything.
While I can block the "ad detected" screen. The video player is then unusable. The controls don't seem to do anything.
It seems like youtube is detecting the presence of the ad blocker, and not any one specific rule?
