Please answer the following questions for yourself before submitting an issue.

  • I am running the latest version
  • I made sure all content blockers are enabled in Safari settings
  • I checked the documentation and found no answer
  • I checked to make sure that this issue has not already been filed

AdGuard version

1.11.18

Environment

- OS: Sonoma 14.5
- Safari version: 17.5

What filters do you have enabled?

AdGuard Base filter, AdGuard Russian filter, Others

Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable Base, Persian and Russian filters
  2. Go to https://donya-e-eqtesad.com/ and check whether ads are on the page
  3. Add ##.zxc to the User rules
  4. Go to https://donya-e-eqtesad.com/ and check whether ads are on the page
  5. Turn off and on 'Ad blocking in Safari is on' in the menu bar
  6. Go to https://www.km.ru/ and check whether ads are on the page

Expected Behavior

You shouldn't have any ads on mentioned websites on steps 2 and 5, you don't have to add any rules to User rules for the filtration to work.

Actual Behavior

Rules from the filters don't apply to https://donya-e-eqtesad.com/ and https://www.km.ru/

Uninstall AdGuard for Safari from App Store and download from AdGuard website and it should work. the issue is with App Store

Uninstall AdGuard for Safari from App Store and download from AdGuard website and it should work. the issue is with App Store

I uninstalled the app store version and installed from AdGuard website and applied the same filters again on my Mac. The same issue persists and the language filters don't seem to be applied properly.
