DNS rewrites are not designed to be suitable for large-scale rules. Therefore, I believe there is no need to add filtering or search functions to DNS rewrites. As I said above, when you have a large number of rewrite rules, you should use Custom filtering rules instead of DNS rewrites. Go to Filters - Custom filtering rules, and use dnsrewrite to build your rules, so that you can search and edit your large rules locally and simply.
@yutons, as an addition to @fernvenue's comment, AdGuard Home actually supports matching (and therefore "searching by domain") those custom filtering rules right on the same page.
