I just installed ToCS III (Steam version) and I am experiencing the same issue, would be great if you could tell me what to replace for this game as well.

One more thing - I would like to install SoftBrilliant's difficulty mod:

Is it compatible with SenPatcher? If yes, should I install SenPatcher first?

At 0x6b92d5, change 0f 84 48 01 00 00 (jz) to 90 90 90 90 90 90 (6 nops). Completely untested, so please report back if this works.

I haven't tried that mod myself, but looking at the files it patches, yes, should work, but may revert some of the item description fixes (unless that mod also fixes them). SenPatcher first, then the mod.
