Sentence capitalization .ª doesn't capitalize a single letter argument

Using the sentence capitalization builtin is great to capitalize the first letter of a sentence or word without changing existing capital letters (unlike the titlecase builtin, which changes everything to lowercase except for each first letter of a word). However, for a single letter argument, the sentence capitulation builtin doesn't do anything.
