Preamble

Almost all methods and classes are already documented through doc strings. But it would be very useful to also document common recipes or advanced usage in the Wiki page.

Requirements

• Add further documentation to the Wiki page
• Check spelling and grammar in all doc strings
• Ensure that users find their way to the Wiki page easily (add links to README.md, CONTRIBUTING.md, Discussions / Welcome, and so on)

Remarks

• Think about a good layout for the Wiki page (e.g. keep internal developer notes and user documentation separate)
