The wedge product between primal and dual forms is necessary for calculating the inner-product of vector spaces, and is also necessary in describing Navier-Stokes flow within DEC. I have already implemented the primal-dual product between k and n-k forms, but the generalization to other form pairings is more tricky. A potential lead on that is posted below.
The wedge product between specific primal and dual forms is defined in Definition 12.1, and a way this product might be generalized to other primal/dual form pairings is presented in Lemma 8.2 of this paper https://mathweb.ucsd.edu/~mleok/pdf/DeHiLeMa2003_dec.pdf.
