Describe the bug
readthedocs builds will fail due to recent changes to the .readthedocs.yaml config file. A sphinx configuration block is now required. See here for details.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Commit changes/PRs to main branch
  2. See readthedocs build failure
