Problem starting VMs with kernel an ram disk

Hi,

currently I'm trying to start a VM with kernel Parameters and a kickstart for "kickstarting" :)

The Problem is that the I always get the following message:

[    4.190768] systemd[1]: systemd-modules-load.service: Main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
[    4.190840] systemd[1]: systemd-modules-load.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'.
[    4.190920] systemd[1]: Failed to start Load Kernel Modules.

after adding rd.shell I tried to start systemd-modules-load.service "by hand" and found the following in journalctl:

Failed to look up module alias 'msr': Function not implemented

Does anybody understand why this happens?

The underlaying OS is also Alma linux 9 with libvirt quemu ...

I start the VM with the following kernel parameters:

inst.ks=http://SOMEIP/kickstarts/vm_alma9_vda.ks ip=SOMEOTHERIP::SOMEGATEWAY:SOMESUBNETMASK:testvm:enp1s0:none  inst.repo=http://SOMEIP/almalinux/9/BaseOS/x86_64/os rd.shell

http://SOMEIP/almalinux/9/BaseOS/x86_64/os is an mirror of almalinux 9 in our internal infra. We mirror with pulp.

Any help with this issue would be very appreciated,
