About the calculation time

I'm doing a simulation of a rain landslide, but I'm confused by the calculation time. In Chapter 3, Soil Strip Compression Simulation. The estimated compression time is 2.5s, so the simulation loads 50 steps with a loading time of 0.05s, but the landslide I want to simulate occurs 30 hours after the rain starts, so how do I set the number of loading steps and the loading time of each step to calculate it the fastest.
