I think the wall angles should be obstacle angles and then they could be maybe 180 or a bit more and not make it go into people. Also the wall angles could be only triggered when very near the wall that way.

I had thought about this already. If I do that though, I'll have to make the food in the center of the map be worth more or the bot will never actively get away from the walls.
It is true that it would definitely be better to make the wall an obstacle.
