Retrieving current, energy and power consumption

Hi, this is a really helpful way to make a dashboard but I was wondering how to display the meter values, current energy and power consumption through using msg.payload and meter values? I would like to display these values on a chart and gauge but I am quite unsure how to retrieve those values.
