Hello, if we implement this what will happen with 1.8? We need to know if this will break any versions.

It will not break anything. If you are going to use IridiumColorAPI.process("string"); in your code - you can also use classic colorcodes such as &0, &8, &f, &a etc. <3

Consider using Adventure instead and then MiniMessage for the hex support
