Gordon, did you manage to fix this problem? I have the exact same issue with all of the different form styles. They all have white borders around them.
I will fix this as soon as possible: I am generally on Ubuntu and the only graphic editor I am good at is Photoshop, which requires me to switch to Windows (I hate Mac). Sorry for delaying this unnecessarily...

I am attempting to use the Aristo theme on a slightly grey background (specifically #f4f4f2)
for the "Uploader" element ... there is a white halo around where the button portion of the element is positioned.
I was able to make it transparent for the hover/active state ... but I cannot get the halo to disappear for the inactive state
any ideas where I have to change the aristo css file to accomplish this?
