Why "Direct Mode" is needed for OpenRGB support?

Per-key controllable mode other than "Direct Mode" is "Statid Mode". In static mode color data is saved into device memory and these persistent memories are flash memories. Flash memories have a limited write limits before they break.

While some devices can still work with broken memories, many become unusable.

Can I use Chroma-Enabled Game integrations with all devices?

Yes, go to "Devices & Wrappers" tab in Aurora settings and install "Chroma" Wrapper. Game integration will work automatically. You may need to enable the integration in-game.

Razer devices will have flickering when this integration is working. To prevent this you need to "Disable Device Control" for Chroma and use OpenRGB
