We will need to be able to create arbitrary 3d objects/animations around/between the buildings in our geojson. Creating the first example of a custom 3d object in deck.gl/mapbox will be helpful as a template for further visual flair.

A good first piece of visualisation is some kind of fat, animated arrow that can connect two buildings, denoting flow of resources between them. The animation can be as simple as the arrow growing/shrinking in a sinusoidal fashion over time, or moving forwards and wrapping around. Any other ideas are welcome as well.
