Cell to cell interaction: required data

Hi, thank you so much for the amazing tool and tutorials. I would like to perform cell to cell interaction for my dataset. I have downloaded this dataset publicly and it was only available in the r.data format. Hence I do not have the spatial file containing spatial images and coordinates. I was wondering if it is possible to perform cell to cell interaction using the stlearn tool with just the count data?
