U2F does not work with Apple

When I try to add my BitBox02 as a security key for my Apple ID (under System Settings -> Sign-In and Security -> Two-Factor Authentication), the key very briefly displays a registration message but then resets, and it is not possible to add it.

This behavior is very similar to what happened with Ledger under their old U2F app, and it is resolved by switching to their new Security Key app.
