is there anyway to add an entity (switch or light) to the home page?

First off, thanks for this project OMG I got my first NSPanel and I am just in love with it and I think the WAF will be huge, but I would love to have a couple of entities that we use all the time on the home page and no matter what I do they never show up,. Is this just not possible?

I see it shows as a tiny icon not a button, didnt realize that.
