Record Edited flag in UI

You had mentioned you wanted a call to the editor, to see if a record has been edited or not – this is a simple proto, simply returns true or false, let me know if additional info would be useful – for example - version, process status, date-stamp, size, etc. The current one doesn’t pull back any actual data, so its fast – could be used to show the record edit status on the search page.
