Stratum Doesn't Connect to Coin (XZC) #3

Hi There - I've compiled this and tried to get it to work with YIIMP pool, but I see the stratum just "Connecting" to XZC but doesn't seem to get any work to provide to the miners (clients). No Errors - just sits there it seems...I do see disconnect and connect based on enabled status in YIIMP, but nothing more. Not sure what gives - other coins using the older stratum work fine.
Any ideas?
