Defect: using dup for character entry in an impulse chord duplicates letters twice #96

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Hit "DUPi" to start the impulse chord menu.
  2. Type "threDUPENTER" to set the output to "three".
  3. Hit "ENTER" to accept the default input "h + r + t + DUP".
  4. Press the chord you just made.
  5. Expected output:
