Languages #1

Hi, So "en" stands for english, and "de" for german ("Deutsch" actually). I you have translated this tool into other languages, i will be pleased to integrate your translation :) Also note that the other Citadel tools do not use the same translation files or translation logic |
Hi Facyla, Thanks for your quick reply! I thought it would be "De" but could not find it as the languages are not ordered in alphabetical order. On what logic are the languages ordered? I mean most of the languages are ordered alphabetically but DE comes after the languages that start with 'G' for example. Is this because it orders it based on the fact its German rather than the code used? Thanks in advance |
I'm t sure we are talking about the same converter ? This one does not have any dropdown language selector. The converter that is available at http://www.citadelonthemove.eu/en-us/opendata/convertmydataset.aspx is this one on Github https://github.com/CitadelOnTheMove/converter-portlet ..while this "php converter lib" is rather more experimental and not published directly into Citadel tools, but available at http://items.fr/apps/citadel/converter-php-lib/ (though this address might change in the future, as this tool is meant to be embedded into other projects or along with the Mobile Templates). It is not as friendly nor complete, but provides a webservice instead of static files conversion, which can be useful for regularly updated data. |
Thanks Facyla - I wasn't sure which converter thread to post this on - that is very helpful. |
The use of language codes in the Citadel converter is not clear.
E.g. ES > SPANISH
GB > BRITISH
But for German, I could not find a code?
Assumed it would be DE or GE, but ended up using GN - not sure if this is correct.
