MoonDeck and MoonDeckBuddy are apps to streamline usage of Moonlight and Sunshine on the Steam Deck. I figured I would try using it with Apollo since it is a fork of sunshine, but it doesn't seem to work - even with debug logging enabled, it connects, then almost immediately disconnects the session without indicating an error. I checked the moondeck logs as well but nothing. I tried with and without forcing the virtual display but it made no difference.

It seems MoonDeck works previously according to some previous discussions. I don't have a deck so I can't be sure if it's still working now, but most likely it's still working for them. Make sure you have followed the setup guide from MoonDeck, just replace Sunshine with Apollo.

Thanks for sharing, I went through that and didn't have any of those errors. Upon digging into Moondeck issues, I discovered this one which is what I experienced - I accidentally set the MoonDeckStream app to use the MoonDeckBuddy.exe instead of MoonDeckStream.exe 😮‍💨 I was able to get it working after fixing that. Sorry about that, it works fantastic and I really appreciate this fork!
