Description

Stuck when split editor

To Reproduce

  1. Open a file
  2. Click the split button to split the editor

Expected Behavior

No stuck

Version Information

CodeEdit: [e.g. 0.0.x-alpha.y] 0.0.3-dev (37)
macOS: [e.g. 14.0] 14.0
Xcode: [e.g. 15.0] 15.0

Additional Context

I add a runtime issues breakpoint and it looks like entering a infinite loop here.
