Learning Objectives

  • Identify the parts of an issue

Why are we doing this?

You will use issues a lot on this course. That is because everyone uses issues a lot in tech. They also sometimes call them "tickets", so you will hear people use that word interchangeably. Tickets aren't just a feature of GitHub; there are many different ticket management systems.

How to get help

It's really hard to ask for help. We all need lots of practice doing it. As we will learn over this course, asking for help in a systematic way is how we solve complex problems in tech.

How to submit

No submission step -- this is a workshop you are participating in. But we encourage you to make notes as this is proven to help knowledge retention.
