Hi everyone!

The goal of this repository it to develop an initial, proof-of-concept backend for Copilot to produce Rust.

We would like to engage more with the community and to encourage community members to participate in copilot by using it, extending it, connecting it to other tools, and contributing bug fixes and improvements. Due to the growing interest in rust, we think that this could present an opportunity for people to discuss what a Copilot backend to target rust should look like, and to collaborate towards implementing it.

Nobody is obligated to contribute, but for those who decide to engage in this project, please be respectful, be kind, and limit the discussion to the technical aspects of the project.

Also remember that those who contribute are volunteer community members, so please be patient with one another. This has to be fun for everyone involved.
