There are several reasons to consider PETG material as a relatively safe 3D printing material:

Non-toxic: PETG (Polyethylene terephthalate) is a food-grade material that is generally considered non-toxic. This means that no harmful substances are released when printing and handling PETG.
Food contact safety: Because PETG is commonly used in food-contact applications such as food packaging, it is considered safe and does not pose a risk to human health.
Heat and chemical resistance: PETG has good heat and chemical resistance, which makes it more suitable for some applications that need to withstand high temperatures or contact with chemicals.
Low volatile organic compounds (VOCs) release: Compared to some other plastic materials, such as ABS, PETG releases less VOCs during printing, so it has less health impact when used indoors.
Easy to print: Compared to some other engineering plastics such as ABS, PETG is easier to print and does not require a high temperature heating bed, reducing the impact of thermal stress on the printer parts.
So using petg filament for printing is safer.
