Wireless Channel 13

Hi, i'm no technical expert....

i have just loaded the CM7 RC1.5 on my Motorola MB525 Defy (red lense) so far i've been running it 30 hours. love it. heaps more battery life, heaps more performance, and 2.3!

anyway the only hurdle i see is that some of the wireless networks i connect to are on channel 13, and from what i have read the option to change wireless region has been removed.

could this option be re implemented or just the default channel range being 1-13 or how ever high it continues to go.

if there is a nightly build that may be suitable for me could you point me in the right direction?
