GPS status report satellites in view, but a position is never acquired.

Solution as described here:
http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/35116-agps-problems/

Using gps.umts_milestone2.so from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239778&page=21

Hi,
I upgraded my Defy from original Android 2.1 to Cyanogenmod 7 today and followed the instructions in the forum post above. Nothing changed. GPS still does not produce any coordinates.

Have you copied it under the name gps.jordan.so?

Did you restart the phone?

Yes and yes.
I downloaded the file from a related forum post. If this procedure worked for you, there might simply be a problem with my file. Could you send me yours?

Unfortunately after running this procedure I noticed, that I do no longer get a mobile data connecion. I hope, these are not related...

Supplemental: After reinstalling CM7 mobile data connection is available again. GPS still unavailable.
