With all due respect to the author, dataset preparation is overly complicated even for someone who has been using computers for decades like myself. Is it really that complex? Could someone please create a detailed tutorial? I would really love to try this seemingly phenomenal open-source project, but not everything is explained properly. Really.
Thank you to everyone who can help!

I can second this, it would be enough just to create script to convert mp4 into the desired format...

@zelenooki87 @C00reNUT Hi all, sorry for the delayed reply. We are currently working on this and will do our best to provide a simplified script for testing with user-provided videos soon. Thank you for your interest in our work!

Two months have passed since your message. Are there any indications that you'll be finishing that script at all? Thanks.

@zelenooki87 Hi, thank you for checking in. I've made some progress, such as packaging part of the event simulator and rewriting some of the C++ code. However, I'm currently busy with an upcoming conference deadline, which will take about a month. So, the script has been temporarily put on hold. I appreciate your understanding.
