Hi!

Not really an issue, just wanted to get in touch. For those of us who do not want to use all the GNOME stuff but still keep a modern desktop by leveraging various modern services, your i3companion is inspiring. I was somewhat planning to do something similar in C, but maybe Python is the right way to go fast and the memory footprint for a unique daemon is not that important.

What's difficult is to find all the interfaces we need to reimplement. It would be pretty cool if you added some README file with why you did implement something and where did you find the information, along with the date as things are moving pretty fast.
