Singed Tracker

A discord bot and web application that allows for stat tracking among friends and gamers in a server for League of Legends

Commands

Version 1

  • !stats - list all users in the server
  • !add - add user to the tracking stats

A nice feature that allows for people who constantly play together to compete againsts eachother and compare their statistics.

Development

Running in Development

python3 -m venv packages
source packages/bin/activate
export PYTHONPATH="${PYTHONPATH}:/path/to/project" (use `pwd` for MacOS to find the file path)
pip3 install -r requirements.txt

Windows
python -m venv packages
. packages/scripts/activate
pip3 install -r requirements.txt

Deploying

Compute Engine SSH
nohup python3 -u main.py &>> activity.log & [This runs the bot script in the back ground. Don't forget to put the main function in main.py]
echo $! > save_pid.txt [saves the last PID, the one you just ran so you can stop it later]

Cloud Function
gcloud functions deploy run_cronjob --runtime python310 --trigger-http --allow-unauthenticated

Adding Packages

pip freeze > requirements.txt
