After installing the plugin as described, I get a "failed to initialize" message from PowerToys. I'm not sure what information you need so I'll let you ask. I imagine the minimum would be PowerToys version (v0.87.1) and plugin version (0.6.3)

Can you provide a screenshot of the error message? This can give me a better understanding of the errors you have encountered.

How did you install it? This looks like there is a problem with the installation. I would like to know your installation steps (such as which file is downloaded)

Also, can you try installing using the ptr? This might also help me to rule out some possible error causes.
