Once the UI has stabilised, we should give it a makeover.
This would suit a team-member with good design skills.
The designer should either spot a theme that works well for the app, or come up with some general styling cues.
Initially, I think there should be a focus on the compact display of data - this is a hard-working application, and we want to show as much as possible to the user. We don't need to "sell" them anything.
There is also now a requirement for some UX design contribution. I've invited proposals for that role in UpWork.
