This is just a documentation of the protocol since we wanted to make sure we are not taking unnecessary backups:
Outline: We would do water sample collection even from those households that currently don't use JJM water for drinking but if the tap is present and water is coming we would go ahead with the sample collection and test.
There was this household that was assigned for IDEXX collection and running water from JJM was coming but they don't use JJM water for drinking they use it for another purpose. For drinking, they use Borewell so since the network wasn't good in the field we couldn't verify it but Archi asked the team to collect IDEXX samples from there and also from one backup.
Then there was further discussion with Jeremy on this and it was discussed that we will collect IDEXX samples regardless for those households that have come in the randomization list either because JJM is their secondary source or in the baseline they used to drink water from it but now they don't. Both IDEXX collection and testing would happen so a backup isn't required for this situation.
