Overall, we were able to manage and finished all the IDs assigned.
Issues- Problems were faced with the water supply because the village hadn't received water supply for the last 2 days because of pump/current issues so even though we had checked in multiple times with the pump operators he still didn't flag it to us. As a result of that, running water supply was a little delayed but our team coordinated well and we could do all the tests.
Since there are 2 hamlets which receive JJM supply in that case we need to closely coordinate with PO.
Replacement - One replacement was used because the assigned HH was locked.
strategy- Every village's situation is very subjective so we are improvising constantly and seeing when should we start with our survey, running water testing and stored water testing
incentives- We are seeing really good results with tiffins like today in Barijola we could avoid 2-3 refusals because of tiffins
day 2- Barijola
Issues- We reached very early in the morning like at 6:30 when Pump was on. Had to ask pump operator to open the pump to let out the running water again because water in the tank was not much so asked PO to re-fill the tank a little and then we were able to manage.
strategy-
We did the running water test and running water sample collection first and then did the survey and stored water testing. Today we collected all stored water samples from JJM only.
Issues related to cooking
In both the villages I asked if people faced any issues with cooking Pakhala they said they didn't face any. These 2 also our control villages so anyway Issues wouldn't happen but still we asked as we were visiting these villages after 2 months.
