1.17 1.7.0 Orb of Atlantis Doesn't Work

as the title says, the orb fails to do anything. Additionally killing a guardian doesn't drop a portal?

after 1.5.0-1.17 the orb is disabled for something new later on and the LEGACY portal of Atlantis is creative only! Due to it being to deadly in survival. :D

how do you get to Atlantis in the current version of the mod

you need the block called Atlantean Core and a bucket of water, build the Atlantean Core blocks like obsidian to a nether portal, and activate it with the bucket of water by right clicking.

this assumes you know how to build a nether portal in the first place

the portal itself doesn't work. It never takes you there.
