The same processes work for children pickup that are at work for normal Wagons Roll Customers so here are some simple questions and answers.
1- We are urban and have walking pickups not cars... How can we use it.
Same Process as a vehicle. You can create 'waiting spots' and begin the queue flow.
2- If I do not click complete does the line stay open after all phases (aka pickup complete)?
No it will close automatically after your designated time that you set.
3- I want to use this for Customer Pickup of orders. Can I?
No. You need to contact FinTech about a Wagons Roll or Wagons Roll Lite license.
4- How does the Artificial Intelligence work?
WR uses Deep learning to identify people and vehicles. It is not present in this integration to Rosario. This is the Lite version.
3- Sometimes other people need to do a pickup of a different child, how do I handle and prepare that child.
If you use the Rosario Attendance with Pickup (same a food) the system will include the child for the day with a different known number.
4- What happens if a phone number is not registered but signals it is there for a pickup.
In this integration, an UNKNOWN PHONE should be confirmed. If someone is picking up a child and you do not have them in the SIS, they can text the name of the child they are picking up and the queue will work. CAUTION always confirm who a child is leaving with is the correct person. In most schools if an unknown is picking someone up they are required to contact the school have them give you the number of the pickup person.
5- System status says there is a new version. Do I have to update?
No. You can look over the update changes and make a decision for yourself. Updates signify if they are cumulative or require a minimum version.
6- This behaves like a large delivery carrier I know. .... YEP.
