Adding/tracking spools of the same color/type.

When I start to get low on a spool of filament I buy another one, common colors like black I keep a couple on hand.

I wanted to go add the two extra black spools I have, but didn't see how this can be done. I don't want to create a new spool ID, why have 3 IDs for the exact same filament.

How does everyone do this?

I use a new spool Id for each. I'm not an expert, but that seems how it is intended to be used. I create a new spool by using the clone button on an existing spool. When a spool is gone, I can archive it (which I assume hides it, but I have not tried it.) If you try to reuse an ID, you would have to keep editing the remaining weight or length when you moved to a new roll. Also, re-using IDs would somewhat complicate having multiple spools of the same color going at once (in a print farm for example.)
