Suggested first iteration:

One line status bar at the bottom of the form. The bar height depends on the font size set for the bar.
Text(Label) style filed(s) adjusted to the text width (possibly limited)
A property to specify a placement of an object on the SB - to the left or to the right next in line
Progress bar with label
Button(s), generating Select event
Picture(s)

Initial work is to write a small ⎕WC example demonstrating all of these.
