ShopNest - E-commerce Platform

ShopNest is a high-performance, full-featured e-commerce platform built using Go for the backend and designed to provide users with a seamless shopping experience. Whether you're buying or selling, ShopNest offers a fast, reliable, and scalable solution for managing products, orders, and payments.

Installation

To run ShopNest locally, follow these steps:

Prerequisites:

  • Install Go
  • Install PostgreSQL (or your preferred database)

Steps:

  1. Clone the repository: 
    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/ShopNest.git
cd GoShop

Set up the environment variables:

Create a .env file in the root directory and add the necessary configuration (e.g., database URL, payment API keys). Install dependencies:

Run the application:

Visit http://localhost:8080 in your browser to access the platform.

Usage
Once running, users can register, browse products, add items to the cart, and proceed to checkout. Admin users can access a dashboard to manage products, orders, and customers.
