The enviromine wiki (https://github.com/Funwayguy/EnviroMine/wiki) gives a 404, and the latest date it's been up (according to Wayback Machine) is January 28, 2016.

To start reconstructing the lost wiki, I copied the text of the pages stored by the Wayback Machine ( https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://github.com/Funwayguy/EnviroMine/* ) to the new Github repo's wiki ( https://github.com/EnviroMine/EnviroMine-1.7/wiki )

Thank you! Is there any way I could help?

If you have any old wiki pages in your browser cache, you could copy-and-paste the text into the missing wiki pages.

Otherwise, we can start re-writing missing pages to help the mod authors get a head start on it - perhaps even researching the source code when needed.

If we could find someone who git cloned the wiki git repo in the past, it would make a great starting point.

I just checked, but I don't have any EnviroMine wiki pages in my cache. I'm about to go on Minecraft and get screenshots of recipes

I have images to upload also, but I can't commit to the Enviromine-1.7.wiki.git repo. Same needed to create "_Sidebar." file for the sidebar.

@Funwayguy , @GenDeathrow , @thislooksfun - any chance of commit access for wiki repo so we can add those?

I just uploaded them to Imgur and used those links to upload the images. I also added a bit more info and tips, especially in gases, from a text document of tips that I had journaled.

The whole repo for the old 1.6.x repo is gone. I believe the wiki for the 1.7.x repo has all the info needed though.

(By the way, I am no longer doing any modding, and thus I'm not part of EnviroMine any more, so I can't help any farther than that.)

@thislooksfun - thanks for your past modding!

The 1.7 repo wiki is the one we are re-building right now - I think we've restored or recreated about half of the pages so far.

So I was just informed that you guys where recreating the wiki.. I want to thank you guys for all your hard work on this. Me and Funwayguy have a lot of projects going on both irl and modding. And have not gotten back to modding Enviromine. I'll try and jump in every now an than to help reconstruct the wiki.. especially any issues you may get stuck on.

@GenDeathrow Some details that would be helpful:

  • Details about the different types of blocks in terms of physics (loose, etc.)
  • More details about gases such as how they generate and any other effects aside from suffocation, volatility, and toxicity (all the source code says about nitrogen dioxide is that its density is 2 and it's invisible.)
  • How much do the Esky and Freezer slow down food rot?
  • Do gases spawn in the cave dimension?

The Gases page of the wiki is now more extensive, including information on how each gas generates.

The Physics page of the wiki now has a table of the properties of all default stability types, with a few examples of each one. Could use more examples.

Made a table on the Gases page of each type of gas and all their (unique) properties using what I could understand of the sourcecode. Some clarification would help.

I'm afraid I'm missing some information for the wiki pages, and this is where I need your help, guys. @Stormwind99 @Funwayguy @GenDeathrow

  • Details about the Cave Dimension
  • Examples of blocks of each stability type (Particularly the "loose" and "none" types)
  • Clarification on the properties of gases (effect of density, difference between air decay / normal decay / random decay, etc.)

Thanks!
