Since it's SvelteKit specific, you could try converting it into a custom SvelteKit adapter that would conform to the Adapter API. The problem you have in your example is it uses window which isn't available on the server. This is fine for your use case (you can stub out the server-side methods) - see the official SvelteKit adapter.

Saying that, you could also try the dom adapter, which is used by default if you don't specify an adapter; this adapter does nothing on the server.
