User reports serious TB performance issues with large drafts

...the issue is NOT synchronization it seems, I had 24 drafts but my folder was synchronized, furthermore I hit the "Download" button and the issue persisted, I deleted all and the issue was resolved, to test I created 5 drafts and there was no issue, i then added some small attachments, no issue, as soon as i added attachments over 6MB performance started taking a hit, these drafts were created locally and I double checked the folder is synced, so it seems the issue is with large attachments (and maybe lots of drafts).

A simple test to check if it has anything to do with synchronisation or local drafts, change Drafts to Local folders.
(Account Settings > Copies & Folders > Drafts & Templates. Change the setting to local folders)
My test showed same performance issue (might have even been a little worse but am not sure)

@srulikuk can you post here a list of the other add-ons you have installed in Thunderbird? If you disable all of them except Send Later does the behavior change?

I use

• mail merge
• importexporttools NG
• remove duplicate messages
• (and send later of course)

I tested by installing 1 by 1 and disabling 1 by 1, the performance hit is only with send later and large attachments in drafts (i tried with and without encryption/ digitally signed set on the draft and it made no difference)

I will try to reproduce later on another machine.
